Where the difference is

Milk

This is the difference you notice most day to day. The Bambino’s steam wand lets you make microfoam for latte art; the Dedica’s system froths easily, but with less control.

Start-up

Sage says the Bambino is ready in 3 seconds. The Dedica listing mentions 35 seconds to heat the water.

Accessories

At 54 mm, the Bambino has good-quality tampers, baskets and distributors. For the Dedica (51 mm) there are some too, and cheaper.

Size

The Dedica is 15 cm wide: it fits anywhere. The Bambino is a little wider and also compact.

Both need a good grinder: I explain it in espresso at home.
