Most accessories do the same job: spread the coffee evenly in the portafilter so the water doesn’t find shortcuts. Size decides everything: Dedica, 51 mm; 54 mm Sage, 53.3 mm tamper; 58 mm baskets, 58.5 mm tamper.
What to check before buying
- Size. Tamper and distributor must match the inside of your basket.
- Buying order. WDT → tamper → funnel → puck screen.
